I'm Home...For Good

''How much longer do you have left in here?''Nicki asked nervously.''3 more years.''Nicki sighed and put her head down as she felt tears forming in her eyes.''Nic, come on don't cry.''Drake said holding her hand.''How can I not cry when my fiance has to be in jail for three more years. We were suppose to be married already but you were still in jail. And Adria needs her father to be there. She is seven and hasn't seen her father since she was four.''Drake sighed and ran his hands over his face. He hated that he wasn't able to see his daughter and hardly got to see his fiance, but he knew that he had to face the consequences of selling illegal drugs. The day he was arrested ran through his mind everyday.

Nicki was downstairs finishing up from braiding Adria's hair. Drake had just got home and he was ready to spend time with his family.''Hey baby''Nicki said when Drake entered the living room.''DADDY!!''Adria got and greeted her father. He gave her a kiss on the cheek then put her down and walked over to nicki.''Hey baby.''He gave her a quick kiss then sat down next to her.''How was your day?''Nicki asked as she sprayed some hair spray on Dria's hair as the finishing touch.''It was long, but only cause I had to do both jobs today.''

There was banging at the door causing Nicki to jump.''I'll go answer it.''Drake got up and went to the door. He opened the door and police came running in, tackling Drake to the ground.''Drake Graham, you're under arrest for selling illegal drugs.''One of the officers said. Nicki and Adria came running in when the people started searching around the house for drugs.''Aubrey what's going on?!''Nicki asked confused.''Excuse me ma'am but he is under arrest for selling illegal drugs.''Nicki was shocked. She knew about him selling drugs but she didn't know they were illegal drugs.''For how long?''Nicki asked.''Ten years is the highest.''

''Please you can't take him. His daughter needs him.''Nicki was now in tears.''I'm sorry ma'am''Adria ran to her father and held onto him.''Daddy no go. Stay here with me!''He wanted to cry knowing that his daughter would possibly have to spend almost the rest of her childhood with her father.''I'm sorry baby girl. I can't''Nicki grabbed Adria and she screamed and kicked as they took him away. Leaving his fiance and daughter behind with no one to protect them.

''You remember what tomorrow is right?''Nicki asked.''Yeah tomorrow's your birthday. I'm going to call you as soon as I get phone time.''Drake promised.''Times up Graham.''The officer said.

''Okay, I love you.''Nicki said and kissed him sweetly.''I love you too and tell Adria I love her.''The officer took him away but not back to his cell. After Nicki left a few officers came and talked to him.''We were just told that you are free to go due to good behavior.''Drake was shocked and happy that he could go home, and just in time for Nicki's birthday.''Thank you so much, but can I call someone to come and get me?''Drake asked as they took the hand cuffs he had on his wrist from Nicki's visit.''Yes, you will be getting your phone back. But here are your clothes and your phone go change and your free to go. Have a good life.''Drake quickly went to change the called the perfect person. Mama Carol.

Mama Carol pulled up and got out of her car to give Drake a hug.''Aubrey, I'm so glad to see you. How come you didn't call Nicki?''

''I want to surprise her for her birthday.''Drake said as they got in the car.''Well you will stay at my house for tonight. But tomorrow we will be going over your house for her party. But I have an idea of how you are going to surprise her. You will come and hide next door then I'll have Maciah go and get you when she is about to blow out her candles. You come in behind her and surprise your home!''Mama carol said. Drake loved the idea so he agreed to it.

Mama Carol and them arrived at Nicki and Drake's house the next day. Drake went and hid over at one of his old friends house next door. Mama Carol and everyone else went inside and greeted the somewhat happy Nicki.''Hello Onika.''Mama Carol said hugging the birthday girl.''Hey mommy.''By the sound of Nicki's voice you could tell something was wrong.''What's the matter Onika.''

''Aubrey is suppose to call already. It's already bad enough that he can't be here.''Nicki said wanting to cry, but she knew Drake wouldn't want her to cry on her birthday.''Onika you need to not worry. Plus I have a surprise for you later, so get happy. I don't want to see my daughter upset.''Mama Carol said gently rubbing her thumb against her cheek. Nicki smiled and nodded then went to get all her other guess.

It was almost time for Nicki to blow out her candles so everyone can have cake. Maciah went next door to get Drake. Kelsey, Nicki's niece was distracting Adria so she wouldn't see him sneak in.''Okay everyone it's time for Nicki to blow out her candles.''Nicki stood in front of everyone with Adria standing next to her looking at the cake. They sung happy birthday for her and when they got towards the end Drake walked up behind them.Everyone's eyes widen but they didn't want her to become curious on why they were shocked so they quickly acted like they didn't see him.

Just when Nicki was about to make her wish, Drake wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek then said''Make a wish baby.''Nicki's eyes widen and she turned around meet eyes with Drake.''OH MY GOD!!AUBREY!!''Nicki jumped into his arms and they held each other like there was no tomorrow. They shared a passionate kiss then Nicki got down from his body. Adria had just now noticed her father was there.

''DADDY!!''Drake picked her up and gave her a long hug. He kissed her cheek then put her down and she held onto his legs.''Make a wish.''Drake said to Nicki who was almost in tears.''I don't have to. My wish already came true.'' Nicki blew out the candles then had Mama Carol cut and serve the cake. The three of them went out to their backyard for some privacy. Drake sat down with Adria in his lap.''I thought you had three more years left.''Nicki said still trying to take in the fact that her fiance was out of jail.''Well they let me out early for good behavior.''He seen Nicki shiver and took his jacket off and gave it to her.

''Thank you, but I'm glad your home. Now we can have our wedding and be a family. Just promise me you will quick selling drugs and do something good with your life. Like be a rapper like you wanted.''Nicki said.''That's what I plan on doing. I don't want to loose my girls again. I'm going to meet with Lil Wayne tomorrow. This guy in jail is a close friend to him and I rapped for him. He said that he would let Wayne know and he did. He then told me he wanted to meet with me and gave me his number. So I called him yesterday when I got to Mama Carol's.''

''Well since your doing something good with your life, I'm proud of you.''Nicki gave him a kiss on the cheek and they went back inside for her party.


>>A Year and A Half Later<<


Drake got signed to Young Money so they were moving to Los Angeles to start their new life. They pulled up to their new home. Nicki and Drake got out then Nicki got their four month old son, King Messiah out the car. Adria got out and walked into the house with her father and mother behind her. They entered the now furnished home in awe. They walked around the house giving themselves a tour. They started in the living room, then the kitchen and they walked to the sun room. They walked to the other side of the house and looked at the home theater. After looking at the theater Nicki notice a room and walked into a game room. They made their way upstairs and the first room was Adria's room. Then it was King's nursery. They then got to Nicki and Drake's room.

There were two guest rooms. One was across the hall from their room and the other was next to it. Drake even had a studio for his work.''I really like this. Lets go look at the backyard.''Nicki said. They went downstairs and to the backyard.''I really love this.''Nicki said smiling at Drake.''Me too. Come on lets go inside.''They all went inside and started their new life.

''It's ya man Charlamagne and we our boy Drizzy Drake here today. Drizzy man what's going on?''

''Not much man. Just finished my first album  and have to get ready to go on tour so I'm spending time with my family before I go.''

''Oh yeah, how is your wife. I've seen pictures of her and she is gorgeous Like I'm jealous.''

''She is good. She has been taking care of the kids while I was working so I have to thank her by doing something special. I mean they have uncontrollable energy so it's hard to keep them calm and have them behave. Especially King.''

''How old are they again? I honestly forgot.''

''Adria is nine and her birthday is in a few weeks. King is one and a half.''

''Your kids are adorable man. I seen the pictures of them with their mom from the other day. It's crazy how big King has gotten.''

''Yeah they both grow quickly. Before I know it Adria is gone be Nicki's height.''

''Yes she will. Now about this tour. Will there be certain people that you will be performing with?''

''Yeah, but  can't say any names except Wayne. Other than that you will have to find out yourself.''

''Well you can always tell a brotha off air personally. I wont tell no body. I mean I might not. I have a big mouth so you should just go ahead and not tell me.''

''You shouldn't have asked if you already know you can't keep your mouth shut. You never keep your mouth shut. Ever.''

''Man don't be a hater.''

''Haha yeah I'd rather not tell you then. You can just wait a few weeks then you'll find out''

''So you have became big in a short amount of time. Most of the time it takes a while for an artist to become big so you only taking like four or five months makes you just that good. You're amazing.''

''Thank you. People tell me that a lot and it's good to know that I was able to start my career and be able to become big that fast.''

''It is. Now many women find you very attractive. Have you ever had a random female try to hook up with you?''

''Yes plenty of times. Sometimes they do it when I'm with Nicki. Just know it's hard to handle a girl like her. She grew up in the hood.''

''Has she ever been like that before you were famous? Like have there been any females trying to get with you before the famous?''

''Yes it has happen before but it wasn't as bad. I was able to handle her. She almost scratched up this woman's face because she was flirting with me.''

''Well I know not to get on her bad side. I want to keep my face how it is.''

''That is all for today. It was nice having you man but next time I want you and your wife to come.''

Drake walked in the front door of his house then closed it and locked it. Adria ran to him and greeted her father. He picked her up and took her with him to his and Nicki's room.''Hey babe. How was the interview?''Nicki asked playing with king.''It was good.''He sat down Adria on their bed and picked up King then sat down next to Nicki. 

''Nicki, I want you to know that I love you a lot and I promise not to disappoint you again.''Drake said holding Nicki with Adria on his lap and king on NIcki's.''I love you too and you better keep your promise or I will hurt you.''She chuckled and kissed his lips and hug her kids giving them kisses as well.
